Synopsis

A long time ago, a monk named Myoue discovered he could bring his drawings to life. He lived peacefully with his wife Koto—a black rabbit who took human form—and their three kids: Yakushimaru, Kurama, and Yase. But when his creations started causing problems for people in the real world, the high priest demanded he fix it. Rather than deal with it, Myoue secretly took his family to an alternate dimension he'd created himself: the Looking Glass City. For a while, things were good. Then Myoue and Koto just disappeared without explanation, leaving their three children to run the city on their own. Yakushimaru took over his father's role and responsibilities. Things got even messier when another girl—also named Koto—literally fell from the sky. She claimed she was searching for the original Myoue and Koto too. Armed with a massive hammer and two loud-mouthed familiars, this new Koto might be exactly what everyone needs to break free from their paper prison.
