Synopsis

Hana Nono starts her first day at a new school hoping to reinvent herself as a mature, responsible person—pretty much the opposite of her usual cheerful, childish personality. Despite a rough introduction, she quickly clicks with two classmates: Saaya Yakushiji, the reliable class rep, and Homare Kagayaki, a cool and enigmatic girl. That same night, a magical baby literally falls onto Hana's balcony. Hana's immediately charmed and names her Hug-tan. She's not alone though—there's also a snarky talking hamster named Hariham Harry, who grumbles that Hana "isn't the one" before disappearing with the baby. Hana figures it was all a dream until the next day, when people across the city start collapsing and a giant monster shows up to drain their energy. While running for her life, Hana spots Hug-tan and Harry in danger. She rushes to protect them, and both she and Hug-tan suddenly radiate light, creating a heart-shaped crystal. Using this newfound power, Hana transforms into a hero called Cure Yell and takes down the monster. Harry's shocked but explains the truth: he and Hug-tan are from a future that's been frozen in time by the Criasu Corporation—the same people behind the monster. The only way to fight back is through Future Crystals, which are born from people's hopes and dreams, and the Precure warriors they empower.
