Synopsis

In 19th-century France, a vampire nobleman named Jean Duchet Godard finds his wife murdered in their home. When the local police show no real interest in solving the case, he turns to a pair of supernatural investigators from Japan: Tsugaru Shinuchi, who carries a mysterious birdcage, and his partner Aya Rindou. The two have traveled all the way from Japan hunting someone specific—the man responsible for stealing Aya's body and Tsugaru's humanity.
