Synopsis

According to legend, the world was remade from gears and clockwork by a legendary craftsman named Y after the original Earth was destroyed. Naoto Miura is a young aspiring clockmaker with an unusual gift—he can listen to mechanical sounds and instantly understand how clockwork functions. Problem is, despite this talent, he hasn't really gotten anywhere. Everything changes when a coffin literally falls from the sky into his apartment. Inside is RyuZU, a female automaton built by Y himself centuries ago. Word gets out about RyuZU's existence, and suddenly Naoto's life gets complicated. Marie Bell Breguet—an elite clockmaker from a famous family—shows up with her cyborg bodyguard Vainney Halter in tow. When Naoto and Marie end up fighting for their lives, they uncover something huge: the entire clockwork planet that humanity has inhabited for over a thousand years is falling apart. And there are people willing to kill to keep this secret buried.
