Synopsis

Dongfang Shaohong has two Dao bodies but no spiritual roots to awaken his spirit body, making him a laughingstock in his own clan—and his fiancée betrays him on top of it all. Things only get worse. His father is imprisoned by the Immortal Alliance, who want the secret to entering the Cangyu Immortal Palace that he supposedly possesses. With his clan on the verge of collapse, Shaohong accidentally awakens the Dao Stone of Immortal Source inside him using his own blood. The power repels the Immortal Alliance and saves everyone from destruction. Rescued by Master Ji Yin, an old friend of his father's, Shaohong finds shelter in the Piaomiao Sect. He trains hard in the ravine of Taiyin Mountain, but his Dark Night Dao Body marks him as a Nether Clan anomaly among humans. His fellow disciples constantly harass him over it. Shaohong understands what he needs to do: get strong enough to free his father, clear his name, and uncover what the Immortal Alliance is really after.
