Every night at midnight, something weird happens: the Dark Hour rolls around, and most people don't even notice because they're trapped in coffins. But if you happen to be awake? You're facing down Shadows—creepy creatures that'll mess you up. A handful of people, though, can summon Personas, which are basically superpowers you use to fight these things. That's where SEES comes in: a secret club dedicated to figuring out where the Dark Hour is actually coming from and stopping it. Makoto Yuuki transfers to Iwatodai Dorm and pretty quickly gets thrown into the deep end when a Shadow attack awakens his Persona. He gets recruited into SEES and joins the fight, teaming up with the other members to keep humanity safe and hopefully put an end to this whole Dark Hour situation.
