Synopsis

Set during the Edo period, this story follows Ichitarou, the sickly young master of Nagasakiya, a major department store in Nihonbashi. Confined indoors his whole life due to his fragile health, Ichitarou isn't completely alone—he's watched over by demons like Shirasawa and Inugami who serve his household. Everything changes when he sneaks out one night and stumbles onto a murder. After that, Edo is rocked by a series of bizarre killings, and with his demon protectors at his side, Ichitarou sets out to find who's responsible.
