Synopsis

Humanity still lives behind walls, hunted by the Titans that threaten their freedom. While soldiers work to exterminate these monsters, danger comes from within the walls too—from other people. After surviving encounters with the Colossal and Armored Titans, Eren throws himself into mastering his Titan abilities. Krista deals with grief over losing a friend. Captain Levi forms an elite squad with Eren and his friends. Commander Erwin recovers from his wounds. Everything seems to be falling into place for the Survey Corps—until the government suddenly demands custody of Eren and Krista. Their recent victories have made them targets. The military police arrive to collect them, and Levi finds himself facing someone from his own past. With the government closing in, Levi and his squad have to stay one step ahead to protect Eren and Krista. For Eren and the soldiers around him, the real threat isn't just the Titans outside the walls. It's the scheming humans within them.
