Synopsis

Yuushi lost his parents in his first year of middle school and moved in with relatives who tolerated him at best. He couldn't wait to escape to a high school with dorms, but his plans fell apart when the dormitory burned down before he could move in. Living with his relatives again wasn't an option—he needed somewhere else, fast. Finding affordable housing as a broke orphan proved nearly impossible until he stumbled on a room in an old building that seemed almost too perfect. There's a reason it was so cheap: it's a Monster House where humans and supernatural creatures—ghosts, mononoke, spirits, the whole deal—live side by side. Yuushi's new neighbor is Akine, another high schooler who's somehow completely unbothered by all the monsters sharing the space. Better yet, she can actually exorcise evil spirits. So yeah, Yuushi's high school experience is about to get a lot weirder than he expected.
