In the mountains where the Yellow, Yangtze, and Lancang Rivers converge, three clans of "Water Ghosts" have long existed—the Ding, Jiang, and Yi. These aren't ghosts in the traditional sense; they're people with an extraordinary ability to navigate water freely and possess deep knowledge of geomancy and treasure hunting. Yi Sa is the last surviving member of her clan, running an underwater bank along the Lancang River. When she rescues Zong Hang during a dangerous dive into the so-called "Golden Soup," she sees an opportunity. She takes him on as an apprentice, teaching him the ways of the Water Ghosts, driven by her own need to find answers and escape her family's curse. Alongside Ding Yu Die from the rival Ding clan, the three of them set out on a mission into the legendary "Ancestral Golden Soup," where primordial secrets lie hidden.
