Synopsis

Chen Pingan has to leave the Lizhu Cave Heaven behind after it gets destroyed, and now he's stuck escorting Li Baoping and a bunch of others all the way to the Great Sui Dynasty so they can study there. The trip is basically a nightmare—they're constantly being hunted by the Great Li's cavalry, and that's before you factor in all the demons and monsters trying to kill them. A mysterious swordsman named A Liang keeps showing up to help out, and eventually they run into other characters like Cui Cheng along the way. Chen Pingan spends thousands of miles constantly fighting, carrying the weight of everyone's hopes on his shoulders. It's a coming-of-age story about a young guy learning who he is while traveling across dangerous lands.
