Synopsis

Kazuma's having a regular day at the Adventurer's Guild when he meets Ran, who actually knows who he is and thinks he's cool. Naturally, he tries to act tough to keep up the image. Then the receptionist shows up with a job to clear out a giant golem in some old ruins, and Kazuma jumps at it just to look good in front of his new fan. When the party gets back from the ruins alive and victorious, Kazuma can't help but milk it for all it's worth, bragging to Ran about every detail. The receptionist sees an easy mark and comes back with another request to head into the same ruins again. Kazuma's convinced there's treasure waiting if they just go deeper, so he manages to drag his reluctant party along. Except this time, things might actually be too much for them to handle.
