Synopsis

Tsuneo Suzukawa is a university student working multiple part-time jobs to save up for studying abroad—something he's passionate about, given his love of diving and marine biology. His plans take an unexpected turn when he has a fateful accident one night that leads him to meet Josee, a girl in a wheelchair. Josee comes across as pretty rude at first, but her grandmother manages to convince Tsuneo to take on a paid job as her caretaker. He figures it's just another way to earn money for his dreams, even if dealing with Josee's bossy attitude is annoying. But after some time, Tsuneo decides he's had enough and tries to quit—until he discovers what Josee really wants: to experience the world outside, to live freely despite her disability. Tsuneo changes his mind and starts accompanying Josee on her adventures. As they spend time together, both of them begin to understand that the things that make them who they are might actually be the key to making their dreams come true.
