Synopsis

Akubi-chan is a cute magical girl with serious magical talent. She can shapeshift by tapping her tambourine and has the power to grant wishes and make dreams come true. She normally hangs out inside a vase, but whenever Ruru-chan—the vase's owner—yawns, Akubi-chan pops right out. Ruru-chan is a first grader who's a bit more mature than her peers. She's secretly crushing on Itoshi-kun, a classmate who lives next door. Akubi-chan keeps trying to use magic to help them become friends, but her schemes constantly backfire. Still, since Ruru-chan is her best friend, Akubi-chan stays committed to the cause—she'll leap out of that vase and tap her tambourine whenever it takes to play matchmaker.
