Synopsis

Way back in the day, Princess Chizuru Ooshima is serious about passing her English exam, so the Shogun decides the whole town of Edo needs a sweets ban to keep her from getting distracted. Meanwhile, two rival gangs are butting heads: the Mizutani group headed by the no-nonsense Shizuku "Ane-san" Mizutani, and the Yoshida group run by the unpredictable Haru "Harunosuke" Yoshida. Ane-san's been trying to track down Harunosuke to tell him about a new temple school opening. When they finally run into each other, sparks fly and they fall for each other hard. But their romance doesn't sit well with everyone—and some people are willing to do whatever it takes to tear them apart.
