Synopsis

Eikichi Onizuka is a 22-year-old former gang leader with one goal: become Japan's greatest high school teacher. His reason? He wants a cute teenage wife when he's older. Yeah, he's a pervert. He's also lazy and greedy, but there's actually more to him than that. When he somehow lands a job teaching Class 3-4 at the prestigious Holy Forest Academy—partly by suplexing the Vice Principal—he's finally met his match. This class is legendary for a reason. These students have perfected the art of breaking teachers. They use psychological tactics to torment anyone who stands in front of them until they quit. But Onizuka's no ordinary teacher, and he's not going anywhere. His students are dealing with serious stuff: bullying, suicide, sexual harassment. Instead of giving up on them, Onizuka tackles the real problems using unconventional methods that nobody sees coming. He'll literally jump off a building to save a kid. His goofy charm and genuine love of fun gradually change how his students see school. Turns out Class 3-4 just needed a teacher who actually gave a damn—and knew how to be cool about it.
