Synopsis

Three youkai named Bem, Bera, and Barro settle in a large coastal city after sensing a thick evil atmosphere hanging over it—created by human corruption and mischief from other monsters and youkai. They decide to stick around and fight back against the creatures attacking the city's residents, gradually making some human friends along the way. Despite constantly being mistreated and rejected by people because of how they look, the trio keeps defending the city anyway. Their real goal is simple: they're hoping that enough good deeds will eventually transform them into actual humans.
