Synopsis

Aiko Morimura is a petite junior high student dealing with a rough hand in life. Her father disappeared on a yacht a decade ago with no trace since. Her mother, a hat designer, moved to Paris for work, leaving Aiko with her uncle Fujinami. Things got worse when her beloved dog Papi died in a car accident. But then a dog named Spank shows up in her life, and gradually helps pull her out of her sadness. With Spank around, Aiko finally starts to smile again.
