Synopsis

Haruaki Abe had a rough time teaching at a regular high school and needed a break from it all. So when he gets a job offer from Hyakki Academy, he's genuinely excited for a fresh start—even if he's not exactly the bravest guy around. But his optimism doesn't last long. Turns out everyone at the school is a youkai, which means he's the only human in a building full of supernatural creatures. Yeah, it's awkward. As the new homeroom teacher, Abe becomes fair game for his students' pranks pretty much immediately. His tendency to freak out at everything makes it worse. But gradually, as he gets to know these youkai and figures himself out along the way, things start clicking. The class loosens up, life at school gets more interesting, and maybe getting along with this chaotic group isn't impossible after all.
