Synopsis

Duchess Leticia Dorman's been engaged to Crown Prince Clarke since she was seven years old. She used to be wild and carefree, but all the strict royal training to turn her into a proper future princess has basically killed her spirit. Her one shot at freedom is if Clarke falls for someone else—and when he actually shows up to a ball with a mysterious woman, Lettie's convinced her prayers have been answered. She bolts for the countryside to finally live the relaxed life she's always wanted, only for Clarke to track her down and drop the bomb that they're still engaged. Now it's a full-on clash of egos.
