Rick Wheeler was a cop who died in a car crash while chasing down the criminal Zoda. Instead of staying dead, he got frozen in cryosleep for 150 years. When he wakes up, Jody Summer and Dr. Stewart bring him back into the world. Turns out they're part of a racing crew trying to stop the Dark Million Organization—run by Black Shadow and the mysterious Deathborn—from hoarding all the prize money and taking over the racing scene.
