Synopsis

After the Black Order wreaks havoc on Bo City, the survivors scatter. Mo Fan and his family end up relocating to Mingzhu City, the country's magical capital, along with other refugees. Things move fast though—his old teacher Tang Yue quickly pulls him into an investigation tied to the Black Order, but Mo Fan drives a hard bargain: he'll help only if she awakens a dark element within him. As he settles into his newfound powers, Mo Fan gets ready to start at Mingzhu University, basically the dream school for any aspiring mage. But the more he practices magic, the more he realizes how much he's underestimated himself. His potential keeps surprising him—it's clear this is just the start of what he's really capable of.
