Synopsis

Ango Sakaguchi reflects on a pivotal case from years back, right after the Port Mafia's former boss died. Young recruit Osamu Dazai gets assigned to investigate a massive explosion that leveled part of the city and its possible connection to rumors that the dead boss might be alive again. Stuck working together by circumstance, Dazai teams up with Chuuya Nakahara—a talented but reckless gang leader from a rival organization called the Sheep. They're hunting for answers about what actually happened, and their investigation keeps circling back to Arahabaki, a fire god from legend that might hold the key to everything. Back in the present, the Armed Detective Agency settles into their normal routine. That peace doesn't last long. Old enemies and new threats are gearing up for another confrontation.
