Synopsis

Rilakkuma is a mysterious plush bear that one day just appeared in the apartment of a young woman named Kaoru. The bear has a zipper on its back, but nobody knows what's inside. Most days, you'll find it lounging around the apartment doing basically nothing. Rilakkuma's got a serious love for food—pancakes, rice omelets, custard pudding, and dango are all favorites. Its little crew includes Kaoru's pet bird Kiiroitori and another small white bear named Korilakkuma, who similarly showed up out of nowhere one day.
