Synopsis

Chise Hatori, an apprentice mage, gets invited to attend the College—an exclusive school for sorcerers. She's hoping the education might help her break the curses plaguing her and work through her tendency to sacrifice herself for others. Her mentor Elias isn't thrilled about her going, but Chise enrolls anyway. Right away, she becomes a standout among her peers and instructors, who are fascinated by her actual magical abilities in action. But things aren't what they seem. There's something sinister happening at the College, and Chise finds herself caught in the middle, trying to figure out who she can trust while attempting to stop whatever's really going on.
