Synopsis

Ron Kamonohashi was the best student BLUE—an elite detective academy—had ever seen, but he's been a shut-in for five years since they kicked him out. Things got worse after he got tangled up in a murder case while still enrolled; he narrowly dodged execution and is now banned from working as a detective. That all changes when Totomaru Isshiki, a cop, tracks him down on a senior officer's tip, desperate for help with a cold case. Ron reluctantly agrees, and his incredible instincts crack the case in under a day. There's just one catch: Ron has some kind of curse that puts people around him in serious danger. Somehow, Totomaru manages to save someone Ron nearly got killed—and that's when things really get interesting. As Ron and Totomaru keep solving cases together, BLUE gets wind of it and sends people after Ron to confirm he's back in the game. Now they're dealing with murderers, rogue detectives, and the whole Metropolitan Police Department on their backs. If they want to stay alive and actually get justice done, they've got to stick together.
