Synopsis

Kanae Otowa's father gambled away the family fortune and disappeared, leaving her stuck in the family mansion, Otowakan, with mounting debts. Now the place is about to be foreclosed, and she needs to evict everyone living there—her friend Sousuke, plus two bizarre guys claiming to know her dad: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Ludwig van Beethoven, who've apparently been resurrected and now go by "Motes" and "Beethes." They've mostly ditched music to pursue random stupid hobbies instead. When Beethes refuses to leave, he accidentally discovers Musik—a hidden power that saves Otowakan from demolition and buys him some time. Word spreads fast. Other Musik users start showing up at the mansion: Chopin, Liszt, and Schubert all converge on the place. But not everyone has good intentions. Johann Sebastian Bach is out there somewhere, perched on top of a building across the city and scheming about how to weaponize his own Musik.
