Synopsis

Mao Onigawara is an 8-year-old whose grandfather happens to be the Chief of Staff of the Ground Defense Force. She and her two best friends—whose grandfathers lead the Air and Marine Defense Forces respectively—are tasked with protecting Japan from an invasion of adorable aliens. The catch? These aliens are so unbearably cute that the regular military can't bring themselves to fight them. Mao's got a cloverleaf-shaped badge that lets her transform, though it doesn't actually give her any real powers to speak of.
