In A.G. 101, a mysterious enemy force called the UE launches a devastating attack on the space colony Angel, an event that becomes known as "The Day the Angel Fell" and kicks off humanity's fight for survival. The story picks up seven years later in A.G. 108 when the UE strikes again, this time targeting the colony Ovan where Flit Asuno lives with his mother. During the attack, Flit's mother is killed, but he discovers something in her belongings—an object called an AGE Device containing blueprints for an ancient weapon from humanity's past: the Gundam. Flit uses these blueprints to pursue engineering studies at an Earth Federation base on the Nora colony. Over the next several years he designs and builds the AGE-1 Gundam, finally completing it in A.G. 115. Almost immediately, the UE attacks Nora, and Flit finds himself piloting humanity's new hope against the mysterious enemy. What begins here will define not just Flit's life, but the fate of his entire bloodline.
