Hametsu no Mars
A Mars probe burns up on reentry, and months later, weird alien creatures called Ancients start showing up all over Tokyo. They're aggressive, tough to kill with normal weapons, and basically wreak havoc everywhere. Scientists have no idea what's going on. Humanity's only real shot at fighting back comes from the MARS suit—a specialized weapon that can actually take down these things. Problem is, you need specific DNA to pilot it. That's where Takeru Hinata comes in: an ordinary high school kid with a rough past who happens to be one of the rare few capable of wearing the suit. With backup from the AAST, a special police unit formed to deal with the Ancients, Takeru has to battle both his own demons and an existential threat while trying to figure out what these creatures actually are.
