Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 3: Kurenai no Tsuki
Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 3 It's been another century since the events of the second series—so 200 years total from the original timeline. Time moves differently between worlds, though, so barely any time has actually passed in the past. One day, a strange boy appears at Nozomi Kasuga's high school and suddenly transports her to Kyou, a parallel world that looks almost exactly like Kyoto during the late Heian period. She finds herself caught in the middle of a brutal war: the Minamoto clan (the Genji) led by Yoritomo versus the Taira clan (the Heike) under Taira no Kiyomori. The Heike have a nasty plan—they're summoning vengeful spirits to disrupt the natural balance of the world and wreak havoc across the land. The mysterious boy turns out to be Hakuryuu, the White Dragon God who normally protects Kyou. But he's been weakened by all those vengeful spirits running around. Since Nozomi is his priestess (the Hakuryuu no Miko), she teams up with the Genji. It's pretty simple, really: Hakuryuu can't send her home until he gets his power back, so she's stuck helping him restore balance.
