In an archipelago south of Japan, anti-gravity shoes called Grav-Shoes have made flight a normal part of everyday life. This led to the creation of Flying Circus—a sport where players score points by touching floating buoys or tagging their opponents' backs. Asuka Kurashina is clumsy and gullible, but when she transfers to Kunahama High School, she accidentally pulls off an impressive aerial maneuver during her first Flying Circus match. Impressed by her natural talent, she joins the school's Flying Circus club. The team is coached by Masaya Hinata and includes Misaki Tobisawa, an experienced flyer, and Mashiro Arisaka, who's overly protective of Misaki. As a rookie, Asuka trains alongside these members as they chase their dreams and face challenges they're not quite sure how to handle.
