Synopsis

Nao's an eighth grader and basically runs the Digital Camera Club by herself—Miki's the only other member. She's obsessed with photographing the sky and clouds, which is kind of weird, but nobody questions it. That is, until she spots a strange cat on her favorite rooftop perch. This isn't just any cat—it can literally control the wind. Startled, Nao loses her balance and tumbles right off the roof. Miki's her best friend and club partner. There's also Mr. Taiki, a teacher who somehow trained this wind-controlling cat. Ryoko's a girl who's head over heels for him. Then there's Jun, who joins Nao and Miki in hunting down a flying cat. And Yukio—she's the widow of Mr. Taiki's brother. Out beyond the city limits sits a small town where the "Wind Handlers" live. A mysterious Wind Festival is about to kick off, and something tells us Nao's about to get pulled right into the middle of it all.
