Synopsis

This OVA comes bundled with the limited edition sixth manga volume and runs about 10-15 minutes. It adapts the story from the first volume. Sanzoku Diary follows Okamoto Kentarou, who grew up in the countryside and was influenced by an old hunter he knew. In 2009, inspired by those memories, he decided to leave Tokyo and move back to Okayama Prefecture to become a hunter himself. The series documents his hunting life in detail—everything from tracking and trapping animals to processing and cooking them, all shown with meticulous attention to the actual work involved.
