Synopsis

Maetel fled her dying home planet La Metal, where survival meant becoming a cyborg. When her mother calls her back, she's faced with an impossible choice: accept her fate as a machine and lose her humanity in her mother's eyes, or reject that future and side with humans against the machines. But she's not alone. If she can trust the metal beings who want peace and stand against those who think flesh and blood are what make you human, she might find a third way—one that's truly her own.
