Synopsis

Uiba Shikatani's pretty bummed when some reptile eggs at her dad's pet shop fail to hatch. To cheer her up, he brings home a massive striped egg—and it actually hatches into a green dinosaur. They name him Muka-Muka after the only words he can say. The little dinosaur becomes a local sensation and catches the attention of the town's eccentric professor, who's got a time machine among his various contraptions. Using it, the professor ends up sending the Shikatani family and several others back to prehistoric times, where they run into all sorts of dinosaurs and magical creatures during their adventures.
