Synopsis

Jinto and Lafiel are aboard the light transport ship Bokbrusue, heading through planar space in the Hyde System. Jinto's been assigned there as an Earl to govern the system now that it's back under Empire control after the Union pulled out. Problem is, his home planet Martin isn't having it—they're resisting Empire rule pretty hard. Meanwhile, the First Devastation Fleet shows up in the system for training exercises, equipped with the new Attack Vessel-class ships. Things get complicated from there.
