Synopsis

Umi Matsuzaki lives in Coquelicot Manor, a boarding house perched on a hill above a port town. Since her family runs the place, she juggles homework with helping out around the house—cooking meals, managing guests, the usual stuff. By day she's just another high school student, though her school is caught up in something of a mess at the moment. The city's planning to tear down an old clubhouse to build something new for the upcoming Olympics. A bunch of students aren't having it, so they've organized to try and stop the demolition. Umi gets involved helping the newspaper club spread the word, and that's where she meets Shun Kazama. The two start spending time together, and she develops feelings for him. But Shun's an orphan with basically no knowledge of his own background. When they start digging into his past to find answers, it becomes clear they're connected in ways neither of them expected.
