He's protecting his family (including his little sister Caron and his robot buddy Barican) and basically all of humanity from the Juralians, shape-shifting invaders with a truly ridiculous arsenal of world domination schemes. We're talking flesh-eating butterflies, booby-trapped scientists, a possessed doll, alien mummies, a pyromaniac kid, and a song that literally kills people. They've got about 65 plans total, honestly. Between Ken's fiery sense of justice and his atomic power, he's the only thing keeping the human race from getting conquered.
