Rail Wars!
In an alternate Japan where the government never privatized the railways, the national rail system thrived under state control. Naoto Takayama wants in on that stability—he's set his sights on joining Japan National Railways, figuring a cushy government job is the way to go. To get there, he has to survive the training program, which means proving he knows his stuff about trains and staying sharp enough to handle whatever gets thrown at him. During training, Naoto bonds with a quirky crew: Aoi Sakura, who's annoyingly athletic; Sho Iwaizumi, who's basically always eating; and Haruka Komi, a walking encyclopedia about everything. As the four of them work through the program together, they end up dealing with all kinds of problems—pickpockets, bomb scares, and increasingly, the RJ movement, a radical group determined to privatize the railways no matter what it takes.
