Synopsis

Rei Hitoma's a self-proclaimed misanthrope with some serious baggage. He lands what he thinks will be a peaceful teaching gig in the mountains—perfect for someone who can't stand people, right? Wrong. Turns out his new school is full of demi-humans trying to become fully human. His students include a mermaid, a werewolf, a rabbit, and a bird, and now he's stuck teaching them what it actually means to be human. As he guides them through their journey, though, something unexpected happens: Rei starts learning a thing or two himself. It's not some fantasy world or reincarnation story—just a straightforward tale about a grumpy teacher and his weird, determined students.
