Baki Hanma's gotten bored out of his mind. He's already the strongest kid around, beat his dad Yuujirou, and defends his title at the Kourakuen Underground Arena without breaking a sweat—literally fighting with a yawn. His friends and mentors are stuck in the same rut, going through the motions of training but without any real drive. Then Japan gets hit with some crazy news: scientists have successfully cloned Musashi Miyamoto, the legendary samurai. The resurrected warrior is pumped to test himself against Baki and Tokyo's other top fighters, but he's completely out of place in the modern world.
