Musashi Shinonome, a recent college grad, inherits his grandfather's pachinko parlor called Shitamachi God Heaven. When he shows up to check the place out, he finds a girl sleeping inside who introduces herself as Hanabi Hana Ariake—and claims to be a sentient pachislot machine that somehow became human. She proves it by transforming and literally shooting fireworks from her body, which is. a lot to take in. Over the next few days, Musashi meets two more of Ariake's sisters: Versus Ikusa Takanawa, who's loud and energetic, and Thunder Rai Nihonbashi, who's the caring type.
