Synopsis

Taichi Tanaka is a 38-year-old office worker who spends his downtime gaming. When the new VRMMO "One More Free Life Online" launches, he jumps in with a young boy avatar named Earth. Unlike most players chasing meta builds, Taichi decides to pursue a deliberately useless skill nobody bothers with. He throws himself into making potions that require way too much effort, cooking meals that are absurdly delicious, and crafting bizarre makeshift weapons to hunt monsters with. In a game where you can do pretty much anything, that's exactly what he does.
