Synopsis

Half a millennium ago, Alneath was ravaged by war between immortal magic users and mortal warriors equipped with magical artifacts. It ended when the hero Gram killed the Demon Lord Veltol Velvet Velsvolt. Fast forward to 2099: Earth and Alneath have merged in an event called Fantasion. Immortals are nearly extinct now, and most mortals use magic through technological implants known as Familia. Veltol gets resurrected in Shinjuku, a high-tech magical city built on wasteland, courtesy of his loyal vassal Machina Solege. Problem is, his magic's shot and his former ally Marcus just stabbed him in the back. Desperate to rebuild his power and reputation, Veltol takes advice from Takahashi—Machina's hacker friend—and does something unexpected: becomes a live streamer. His quick wit and hilariously bad gaming actually pull in viewers. But if he wants to take over the world again, he'll need to figure out what Shinjuku's really hiding and stop Marcus from executing whatever twisted plan he's cooking up.
