Synopsis

Every few decades, the Wild Hunt—a group of fae knights on horseback—wakes up and roams across the land. Their presence kills off old plants and makes room for new growth. But when lightning strikes the stone monument where they sleep, it cracks and a fragment breaks away containing the guide who leads them. Without their guide, the Wild Hunt can't stay in formation when it awakens. Instead, they just wander aimlessly through the forests, leaving death and destruction behind. To fix this mess, Spriggan recruits Elias Ainsworth to track down the guide's horse and reunite it with its master. Meanwhile, a kid named Gabriel—an asthmatic boy who's desperate for some real adventure—finds the broken piece of stone and accidentally summons the knight trapped inside. The guide barely remembers anything except that he needs to get back to his steed and his pack. If he doesn't reunite with them soon, the damage the Wild Hunt causes could become permanent.
