Synopsis

Rephrase A new film in the series is coming to theaters as a medium-length anime in summer 2023. Alongside the summer brass band competition, there's an ensemble contest—"Ancon" for short—where groups perform together. There's something special about watching a whole ensemble work as one unit that you don't get from individual competitions. To compete in the Kyoto prefectural Ancon tournament, each school has to pick its representatives through an internal selection process. But Kitauji High School's brass band has over 50 members, and they're dealing with some serious problems. With Kumiko newly in charge as club president, will she be able to pull the band together and make it through the preliminary rounds? Her real challenge is just beginning.
