Synopsis

Touma Kusaka doesn't fit the mold of his Choshu Clan—he's actually open to foreigners, unlike the rest of his family. When he runs into Keiichirou Akizuki, a Tokugawa vassal who once helped him escape from the authorities, they start secretly learning English together. Sneaking around behind their families' backs brings them closer, and feelings develop between them. Problem is, their clans are heading toward war, and with conflicting loyalties and bloodlines standing in the way, any future they might have together seems impossible.
