Synopsis

Denji's stuck in a miserable life—broke, saddled with his dead father's debt, and forced to hunt devils with Pochita, his chainsaw devil pet, just to scrape together money for the yakuza. His only real wish is something simple: decent food and a girlfriend. That all falls apart when the yakuza betray him and leave him for dead. But Pochita won't let it end there. An old contract lets the chainsaw devil merge with Denji's corpse, turning him into a hybrid who can sprout chainsaws from his body. The Public Safety Bureau catches wind of this dangerous new threat, and their top devil hunter Makima offers him a deal: work for her and you can have the life you want. Desperate for that second chance—and drawn in by Makima's promise of a normal life with a pretty woman—Denji throws everything into becoming the hunter she needs him to be.
