Synopsis

Fifty years ago, mysterious creatures called the "Huge" started appearing everywhere, threatening humanity's survival. To fight back, the world turned to "Lilies"—teenage girls who harness an inner energy called "Magie" to operate powerful weapons known as "CHARMS." Riri Hitotsuyanagi owes her life to a Lily who saved her from a Huge attack two years back. Inspired by that encounter, she's determined to become a Lily herself and enrolls at Yurigaoka Academy. There, she's shocked to discover that her classmate Yuyu Shirai is actually the girl who rescued her—except Yuyu's nothing like Riri remembered. Instead of being warm and approachable, she's withdrawn and prefers working solo. That doesn't stop Riri though. She's set on befriending Yuyu, no matter what it takes. Now, surrounded by Yuyu and her fellow Lilies, Riri's finally on her way to achieving her dream.
